Running into its second year Black Eats London is the UK’s first and only directory of Black-Owned restaurants. The purpose lead platform champions local Hackney businesses and gives locals the chance to discover and enjoy local businesses that thrive in the local community.

Started by Jackson in May 2021 he transformed the Hackney area into an impressive and dynamic array of traders spanning the fields of food, drink, craft, art, music and more, to champion all of the Black-owned businesses we have on our doorstep. The original mission of Black Eats LDN was and is to break down the barriers for Black-owned businesses that have historically had a visible lack of spotlight in mainstream media, namely Black-owned restaurants.
